Equal breathing

Hold 2 sec
Exhale 4 sec
Hold 2 sec
Equal breathing is very easy. It calms your body and your nervous system and helps you to focus your mind. Breathe deeply ideally with your nose. You can experiment with times, just remember that inhale and exhale drations should stay the same.

Deep belly breathing

Inhale 6 sec
Don't hold (Hold 0 sec)
Exhale 6 sec
Don't hold (Hold 0 sec)
Take deep slow inhale through your nose into your belly (your diaphragram should inflate, not your chest) and then slowly exhale. Repeat it for at least 3 minutes a day. This will reduce your stress level, heart rate and blood pressure over time. You will find more informations on deep belly brething in wikipedia.
* Please remeber to check your health and if you are having problems with blood pressure etc., first ask your doctor for advice.
